Central Florida to screen Iranian ‘Pass’

Iranian short film ‘Pass’ is to participate at the Central Florida Film Festival in the US.

The Central Florida Film Festival (CENFLO) in the United States is set to screen Iranian short film ‘Pass’.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Pass’ will participate at the 16th edition of the American event.

Written and directed by Elika Abdollahi, the film revolves around a poor woman and shows that not everyone is trustworthy.

“I tried to say that not everyone is predictable, even those we have trust in," the director has said of her film.

‘Pass’ is starring Mina Hamedani, Hessam Hosseini, Soheil Mirza, and Ebrahim Barzideh.

The Central Florida Film Festival “is about creating an environment for filmmakers to celebrate and enjoy each other's works, to have the opportunity to network across a fun-filled weekend, and to interact with audience members who are seeing their work for the very first time”.

The 16th Central Florida Film Festival will take place on January 21-23, 2022.
